First Autumn/Winter purchase

I purchased a pair of tan cowboy boots yesterday my first autumn purchase! What has everyone else got ?

A pair of Solovair 11 eye Astronaut boots in black, I bought a few weeks ago. Looking forward to wearing them! 2 burgundy sweatshirts and a long sleeve burgundy top, they haven’t arrived yet, they were reduced on asos the other day and I needed some every day tops/sweatshirts to wear with leggings and jeans as I’m a sahm.

I need to buy some new leggings and knitwear.

Which dress did you buy? I do love a ME+EM dress.

I have bought quite a bit, a combination of new and from Vinted.

• COS dark green skirt and a burgundy draped dress
• Norma Kamala black hooded maxi dress
• AllSaints oxblood leather coat
• M&S brown snakeskin boots on order (although they aren’t leather so I don’t have high hopes).
• From Vinted I have a black Acne cardigan, a deep red AllSaints top, a Zadig & Voltaire black blazer with very cool staple detailing and The Kooples brown pleated skirt.

I have lost 8 stone over 2 years and whilst I’ve only lost a stone of that since last winter, a few things are feeling a little too big. I’m heading to a tailor to see what can be tucked and tweaked for a better fit.

I found a 20% code for the coat and bit the bullet. Would have preferred Vinted, but the burgundy so popular that they’re often not far off new discounted price on there anyway, as my year’s stalking has shown.😆 No new navy ones though, so pre-loved hunt continues.

I went to a car boot sale last Sunday and got a lovely brown leather vintage frame handbag for €5. For €1 each I picked up a brown leatherette tote bag, a white short sleeved Damart thermal vest, a mauve wool mix jumper, an orange and grey colour block jumper in pure wool, and a thick black H&M skater skirt that DD1 has taken back to university with her. I'm currently wearing the mauve jumper with an old Mango A-line mini in a purple, green and white op art print - probably not trendy, but I love anything that reminds me of my late 90s glory days!

Ooh, I bought the silver skirt from Fat Face last night too. What do you plan to wear yours with?

orange alpaca knit from Arket - I already own the same one in various colours from the last few years and they are my perfect jumper
Brown “fair isle” cardigan from Urban Outfitters

Waiting on some Adidas Tokyo black and white trainers, and a “mole” alpaca cardigan from &OS coming

Without searching emails for online ordering history, so far...

• A pair of light tan ankle boots from Skechers of all places
• A navy cord skirt from White Stuff.
• Two sweaters from Monsoon.
• Another sweater from ?

All with an eye to a trip booked to Canada in October.

Yes I know. I bought some because I got bored with my usual black but they definitely seem to be in at the moment as is brown for autumn. I can't wear brown next to my face or I look like I've been dug up so boots will have to do 😁

I'm liking the sound of that.

I want a navy check dress and something in fairisle, but I’m losing weight so don’t want to buy them and not get enough use. I will buy a navy hoodie, I keep trying to steal DH’s but he won’t let me. And I am looking for a polo shirt to replace the copper brown one I wrecked with bleach. I have bought some blue cord pull on trousers and a similarly coloured jumper from Next clearance, the cords were to replace some I had last year in a bigger size. They are lovely.

Numerous jumpers as a lot of mine were knackered
An Alexander McQueen clutch bag

I have been feeling very guilty about it all and then saw the new green faux fur coat in Topshop and thought, "Fuck it!" and bought that as well. I now need to get my finger out and sell some stuff on ebay and claw that money back.

I bought a top from celtic and co in the sales and i love it so much, im wearing today for lunch in the park

also bought a top and a cardigan from Baukjen for work, nice but not as exciting as my stripy top!

Hopefully they’ll work as an outfit with brown boots, and I’ve a nice cream silk blouse to go with the trousers until it gets cold.

I now want a tweed blazer too, by the way!
