Hi, I have another thread but it’s died a death. So starting again.

It ticks so many boxes in terms of shape (neckline, length, fit and flare) and fabric (not polyester!) that I wonder if I’m overlooking a couple of reservations. Is it too casual?

I’m 5’ 4” I will definitely wear heels with it.

Please be brutally honest, I can take it.

Rather depends on the wedding milieu … It would perhaps be too casual for some, but if the wedding party aren’t expecting jewel coloured silk and velvet clad guests it may be ok.

I think it's really nice. I wore a dress to my cousin's (slightly bohemian vibe wedding) that could be dressed up with heels or dressed down with boots & a leather jacket and this dress has a similar feel.

I haven’t ordered it yet @OffToSeaInABlizzard , I probably should and take it from there.

I’m wondering if it wasn’t from Free People, could it look like one of those dresses you see on a market stall? I’ve had that thought, now can’t unthink it.

It does a bit and wearing it with heels will make it more so.

Hmm yes. Heels are what I know for occasions. Probably dated.

It’s also possibly the wrong colour for me. My colour, and what I would love is something in cobalt blue. I have something in my head that doesn’t exist.
