Teen acne

My DD is16 and her skin is awful. She's tried lots of things from the Dr but improvements only last a month or so and she then she is back to square one. It's so painful and makes her miserable.
I've decided to just pay for her to see a dermatologist. Does anyone have any experiences of a good private dermatologist in London who sees kids?
Thanks so much

Has she been on roaccutaine (it may have a different name these days) and seen a consultant dermatologist?

if not, try to get her on it ASAP.

i had terrible, really ‘male’ terrible acne at that age and spend years trying ineffectual treatments from the GP, and now have bad scarring. Roaccutane was the only thing that helped, though it’s a harsh medication.

good luck to your daughter , I hope it clears up well (very hard at that age when friends are complaining about the smallest pimple, I have so much empathy for her )

@Shineyorange Thank you. I really think this is what she needs.
