Winter boots help

I need to buy some new boots for winter.

I find it difficult to find a comfortable pair. My current pair of UGG biker boots has had it, but I like that style.

Can't find anything from them similar this time around.

I need a relatively comfortable sole. Because my feet don't do around the very hard soles.

I'm not opposed to chelsea boots, but I don't find they fit very well and I prefer at least a zip on the side rather than pull on.

Any ideas?

Grenson Nanette are really comfortable and extremely lightweight, I use a sheepskin insole in them in the winter for extra warmth.
Solovair are lovely too and the fur lined Dr Martens are really comfortable and warm for winter.
