Aware the jury is out on whether or not devices like ZIIP Halo or Foreo Bear make much difference. But I do trust Sali Hughes and her recommendations - she doesn't claim the ZIIP will have a last long term effect, but does say it improves skin tone on a day to day basis, which is tempting!
Am considering saving up a bit for the Black Friday sale (Ziips are astronomical) - BUT, one thing I don't understand is how these things actually work! I thought our faces 'age' partly because of our use of dynamic facial muscles - eg frown lines, crows feet from smiling, laughter lines etc.
So - if the microcurrent devices are essentially 'moving' the muscles below the skin and claiming to tone them, why doesn't this movement lead to more lines?! We're not toning our own faces from raising our eyebrows or smiling 😂- how is it different?
