Has anybody successfully used the curly girl method and brought their curls back. The first picture is from today, air dried and not straightened or dyed in almost 2 years. The next pictures are from 10-15 years ago and my hair was like this from childhood until probably 8 years ago. I think years of bleaching and straightening have ruined the curls.
If anyone has used the curly girl method how long did it take to notice a difference, I’d love to see before and after pics and what products did you use?

I did. It took awhile, although with hindsight a decent haircut sooner would have sped things along.

When you wash your hair if you scrunch it while wet and it holds a wave pattern you’re onto a winner.

Im not remotely brand loyal. Whatever sulphate/silicon free shampoo/conditioner is on offer and cheap gel - usually the shockwaves one or tesco does a super cheap £1 a tube one.
