Question About Acrylics At Home

DD16 has started doing acrylics in her room to practice for a college course. They stink! She’s insisting she can’t open the window because sunlight ruins the chemicals, polishes etc yet she really needs ventilation. She had a proper go at DH yesterday because apparently it’s his fault that £200 worth of stuff is now unusable. Stuff he paid for incidentally! Our argument is that she could open the window but keep the curtains drawn. Can anyone advise what’s best to do? DD did ask to use the summerhouse but it’s not practical for a few reasons.

All she needs to do is keep it all in a drawer to avoid direct sunlight, or failing that a shelf away from the window with a towel or scarf over the top to protect it. Of course she should be opening her windows - those fumes will be full of chemicals she should not be breathing it in too much. Fresh air/normal daylight is fine.
