Just had my hair coloured & after a really good quality, preferably organic, protective/prolonging shampoo that doesn’t cost a small fortune. Volumising would be a bonus.Scentwise, I love coconut but that’s not essential.

Try Creightons - absolutely amazing, and sooo cheap! We’ve used a few different varieties and they have all been really good.

Lush shampoos are pretty good

I find lush shampoos do quite the opposite and make my colour come out

Herbal essence Aloe Vera, sulphate free, is good. Feel it's fairly gentle on my coloured hair

I use Aveda Shampure as my Holy Grail and Philip Kingsley Itchy Flakey Scalp as a pre-dye detoxifier (I buy this for my DS)

Also don;t wash my hair for at least 36 hours after dyeing it

ETA - they are expensive as an outlay but last months and I'm not buying loads of different ones and wasting them as they do not match up
