Help me find a dress

Size 8-10, but have big shoulders, A cup, and a postpartum belly that makes me still look 4 months pregnant. Would prefer knee length or just above, dark colour - maybe black, navy, emerald green.

Budget £300.

For a fancy 40th cocktail party and sit down dinner.

Or, can someone suggest some shops I can visit in London and brands I should try?

The first Sandro dress is beautiful!

The trouble with The Outnet is it’s all too easy to get sucked into buying something that’s massively reduced for a reason … Grin

@OpalFruitsYay is it something you’ll want to incorporate into your wardrobe? Because if not, you might find it more satisfactory to rent a dress?

The best clothes rental and dress hire sites to try in 2025

They say the most sustainable thing is what’s already hanging in your wardrobe, but it can also be what's hanging in someone else's...

Will add it to my London shopping day itinerary, thank you. Always loved looking at their stuff online!

You’re prob right. If I could re-wear said dress to Christmas parties, it would be great.

Have never tried renting a dress, but will have a look!

@OpalFruitsYay

You’ll fall in love, be warned!

The shop in Marylebone village is small but the customer service is excellent and the staff are so friendly. The one in Chelsea is their flagship and they also have a cocktail bar inside but I haven’t ventured there yet as I know my credit card will take a huge bashing! They also have one in Carnaby Street and another in Westbourne Grove which has recently opened.

Cocktails whilst shopping, now that could be dangerous, but does sound like fun! Thanks for the details x
