plain dress

I have an old dress I'm fond of and looking for a replacement. It's plain and blue and jersey and mainly cotton. With shortish sleeves but not vest like. It fits at the waist, skims over the stomach and flares a bit but not hugely. It's not really hot to wear but thick enough to not waft about too much. It is super comfortable and suits me whilst being plain and wearable enough to be totally casual. I can't find anything like this at all. All the fit and flare type dresses seem to have pleats sitting round the stomach that look pretty awful on me. Or waists in the wrong place, like really high up. A lot of the T-shirt material dresses are really baggy and shapeless and don't suit me either.This one just seems to be cut in panels. Looking for a size 16. Can anyone help?

It's in the sale as they only have size 16 left but that is your size!

Thanks everyone. The first two here have a pleated elasticated waist which doesn't look good at all on the likes of me, or no fitting at all round the waist which is ditto. But thanks both for suggestions. @cinaferna that's the closest shape to what I mean yes! It's a bit fussy with the collar though. The one I have is very plain without collar etc. Is there places that do dresses more of this type? Thank you. That is quite close in terms of shape though.

All merino wool but more like the shape you are looking for I think.

@seainasive Thank you. I can't see anything there the right shape or material really. I don't want a wool dress as that is hard to wash. A lot of the other dresses on the site seem to hang from the bust, which isn't a style that would suit me. But thanks anyway.

I have ordered the plain blue one from the link you suggested @Cinaferna . Excited to see if it works at all. Many thanks.
