Saltwater perfume discovery sets

Hi there. I am looking for a new perfume that lasts and is not too expensive..I usually go for a fresh style. Can anyone recommend the Saltwater Discovery sets and if so should I be daring and try the one with more variety in the samples or the fresh style set?

I’ve just succumbed to the constant Instagram ads received a Saltworks sample set, and am actually very pleasantly surprised. There are some lovely fragrances in there.

I wouldn’t call the set I have particularly fresh, though; it’s more spicy/sweet/powdery. If it’s fresh you’re after, I’d go for the fresh one.

I tried it and hated it! The scents were very overpowering and - to my untrained nose - very dated. Of the ten, there were maybe two that weren’t hideous, but I hated the rest.

One of them was exactly like the smell of the interior of my dad’s car in the mid-80s. This was not a nice smell.

I succumbed to the ads and bought a discovery set and didn’t like any of them. I left them in our staff room toilet for people to help themselves.

I love the Lady Marmalade one. I was going to ask for it for Christmas!
