Foot deodorant?

Help! We're going on a work team trip soon and I will be sharing a room with colleagues, which is my worst nightmare.

I'm super worried mainly about getting smelly feet and stinking the room out when taking them off at the end of the day. I have anxiety and social anxiety and honestly it's making me feel sick.

Any advice on how to avoid this? Products that work, or shoe type/material I should aim for? Temperature should be in the 20s but lots of time spent on our feet all day.

Thank you

I would absolutely not share a room with colleagues!!!

I wouldn’t share with colleagues either (never heard of that).

How about getting odour controlling insoles for your shoes. And wash your feet when you get back to the hotel.

Do not share a room with a colleague. Would you sleep at the office in your pyjamas?
Crazy.

Assuming you have to share a room:

new or newish shoes - ie that don’t already smell!

good deodorant on clean feet (in between toes etc - Sure 48 cream?)

wear socks or sock lettes rather than totally bare if you can

take some slippers/slipper socks you can change into when you get back to the room so you can give your day shoes a chance to air / dry

spray them (if you are worried)

but also speak to your colleagues up front that you are worried about pongy feet - be up front about it and you lessen the worry.
if your room has a balcony - pop your shoes out there to air off

take spare shoes to alternate each day if you can?

Trust foot deodrant is great, it comes in a little pot, but a small amount goes a long way. Put on your feet after a bath/shower, & it should stop your feet from smelling all day. You could a buy a spray for shoes as well.

Large zip loc bag to store shoes in and wash your feet.

Using a little Hibiwash when washing your feet daily, starting a few days before will help reduce bacteria and therefore bad smell.
