She’s using sunbeds isn’t she?

I follow an influencer on Instagram, she has a perfect light tan all year round, no lines or marks in a variety of swim wear, and doesn’t use fake tan or sunscreen as she believes they are toxic. She’s using sunbeds isn’t she? I can’t see that there is any other way to achieve this perfection of tan!

OP posts:

Might that just be the colour of her skin?

Ihavepaidalotforthisstory · 18/08/2025 20:41

Filter?

InMyHealthyEra · 18/08/2025 20:43

Natural skin tone, spray tan or as you suspect, sun beds. Why does it matter?

TyroleanKnockabout · 18/08/2025 20:44

So suncream=toxic, tanning= fine. 🤦‍♀️

(my money is on filters. It’s usually filters)

Filter?

Or photoshopped

Coconutter24 · 19/08/2025 21:46

Which influencer is it? Could it just be her natural skin tone?

ParmaVioletTea · 19/08/2025 21:54

Why are you bothered by this?

NewBlueNoteBook · 19/08/2025 21:58

Why assume sun beds? I’d assume it’s her natural skin tone.

Presumably someone concerned about toxins in sunscreen wouldnt take the dreadful risk of using sun beds?

SnobblyBobbly · 19/08/2025 22:05

All these ‘Why do you care’ answers. The topic is style and beauty so the OP is probably wondering how to achieve the same thing.

It’s a rhetorical question.

Digdongdoo · 19/08/2025 22:07

Filters or fake tan and she's a liar. Probably both.

notthatoldchestnut · 19/08/2025 22:29

Injections?

Oh, you'd think. There's a whole social media school of thought (or complete absence of thought) that sun screens are toxic because chemicals are bad but sunbeds are totally fine. Honestly. You can't make this shit up.

The bigger question is why is the OP following morons on social media?

BUMCHEESE · 19/08/2025 23:13

I have a friend who tans very quickly and easily and evenly in the sun, and it doesn't fade much over winter. My guess is as soon as the camera is away the straps are down.

Radicalpiloti · 19/08/2025 23:14

Yes that absolute bitch eh

Radiowaawaa · 20/08/2025 06:53

Dh has a perfect tan all year. He does in his baby photos too😂
