Where do you get them? Are they actually good?
Im so fed up of buying "proper" perfume, nowadays their prices are insane and their sticking power really weak.
I also have a TK Max near me, can you get perfumes from there?

Next do some nice ones..
Like eau nude and cashmere.
Avon do some fab perfumes by big names in the industry...my favourites are attraction, little black dress and luck for her.

Gingernaut · 16/08/2025 23:28

Savers have some half decent bargains

beachwalkx · 17/08/2025 00:16

Next summer sun is my favourite
agree perfume parlour is great

Kaleidoscope101 · 17/08/2025 00:39

Another vote for M&S.
I wear the Midnight Blossom one which I read recently is a dupe for Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium (didn't know this when I bought it, I just liked the smell 😁)

TheFormidableMrsC · 17/08/2025 00:39

Zara and M&S

GrimDamnFanjo · 17/08/2025 00:42

Zara gets good reviews. I personally love Fragonard perfumes.

MangoHabanero · 17/08/2025 00:45

I’m a complete perfume geek, and really rate Perfume Parlour dupes. I use them for dupes of discontnued perfumes mainly and the likeness to the originals and quality is fantastic.

You can get cheap 3ml or 5ml roll-ons to test a scent out before you commit to a full bottle if you’re unsure.

(It’s absolute bollocks that the ingredients are inferior in dupes, too! You pay more for the packaging, bottle and branding with designer and niche perfumes, not the scent).

WhereAreWeNow · 17/08/2025 06:35

&Other Stories have some nice scents.

Sali Hughes rates the Zara ones too but I haven't found any I like.

OMG these look incredible!!!

Which do you recommend?

Pink pepper and Midnight Blossom my favourites so far.

I bought a couple of the mens ones and use them as air freshener 😂

FrenchandSaunders · 17/08/2025 07:35

My DD had a lovely perfume on the other day, turned out it was a Penhaligon dupe from the Essence Vault. Smelt just like Halfeti.

PuppyMonkey · 17/08/2025 07:48

Met a friend the other day and she smelled so good - she was wearing M&S Apothecary “Breathe”. Bought some straight away £12.00. Eucalyptus, bergamot and thyme mix apparently. Really lovely and I’m not usually a perfume person at all.

SingleMum84 · 17/08/2025 08:06

I like them, I think you can get really good smelling perfumes for cheap! I always goto free stuff sites and apply for perfume samples too, as they are great for those weekend away! Usually use https://www.freestuffspot.co.uk/free-perfume/ what sites do you use?

I've stopped spraying perfume on my skin. Lasts longer on clothes and works best on a scarf in colder weather.

Summer is more tricky as I change more frequently. Sometimes I spray some in my hair as I'll sometimes skip my hair wash in the shower.

I am saving for an expensive perfume and I want to make it last. I agree that prices are nuts.

MKDex · 17/08/2025 11:49

Ive ordered M&S Warmth and a discovery set of 3

Another vote for Zara. Don't bother with the Aldi dupe of Pomegranate Noir - I was enticed by rave reviews to buy it but it's not very nice at all.

DeLaRuiz · 17/08/2025 12:37

I bought the M&S soft iris, it’s gorgeous, but lasts about five to ten minutes on me. I just bought Next Eau Nude, which really lasts and seems to me it could easily be an Estée Lauder perfume, it’s great. I’ve decided I’m not going to spend loads on perfume any more. I just bought Zara grapefruit and pamplemousse, it’s very very refreshing, and creates a wow fragrance layered with soft iris.

What I’d like is a soft Iris that lasts. I’m looking at Dossier now, and about to try some.

MKDex · 20/08/2025 09:55

Reporting back on M&S buys! Warmth: pretty underwhelming tbh I was expecting something denser/heavier.

The discovery set... These are fantastic dupes! One is a perfect dupe for Coco Mademoiselle and the other is Black Opium 💫

Superdrug have some nice ones - I'm currently wearing Vanille Blush in their Artiscent Atelier range. If's apparently a dupe of Dior Forever? I haven't tried the Dior but I love the Vanille Blush.

Ihatemondays1962 · 20/08/2025 22:39

Zara Gardenia is worth a try.

ThatWhiteElephant · 25/08/2025 09:29

Definitely M&S and Zara, most of mine are from there now. I like the small bottles, they are handy to put in a small handbag.

reetsreet · 25/08/2025 09:31

Zara do the best cheaper perfumes. And they don’t smell cheap and last as long as the £100+ perfumes. I love their cherry bomb which smells nicer than the Tom Ford cherry perfume and lasts just as long for a tiny fraction of the cost.

thebinkster · 25/08/2025 17:18

Try noted aromas pretty cheap and smells just like the real thing. They’re quite addictive once you start buying them.
