The quest for the work rucksack

Back here again. My Knomo backpack has split at the zip. I need something more hard wearing. It was too small anyway.

Separate section to slide in a large laptop

Enough space in the main section for a toiletry bag and an oblong lunch box in a cool bag

Padded straps

Budget, doesn't really matter as I will be looking for it on Vinted. Anyone got a great one?

I have a Herschel one that has proved to be indestructible so far. Not that stylish but like you I carry my laptop in it, often food and shoes.

I have this one https://nordace.com/en/product/nordace-siena-smart-backpack/

I'm quite pleased with my Stubble roll top, the smaller one (15L). Laptop and notebook go in at the side. Water bottle on the other side. Outside pocket for pass/keys. Everything else inside (jolly orange colour). I think newer model has a better chest strap and luggage sleeve.

I love my Patagonia Refugio. It’s spacious, really comfortable straps and massive laptop section with a padded laptop case included. However I wouldn’t buy off Vinted as it’s littered with fakes.

Ooh I like this a lot. Often get my laptop out to work on train so easier thats its at the side. I also find roll tops less faffy.
