Best product to texturize a pixie cut?

Have a pixie crop, and quite thick hair. But because my hair is naturally fine and silky I really struggle to get some definition and texture in it.

All the waxes/pomades just seem to make it a bit gloopy. Haven't had any luck with a texturizing spray either. Any recommendations please?

I use a styling powder, my hair is fine and very straight
