Is it possible to look stylish at a wedding in flat boots?

I am going to an autumn wedding. I am short and plus sized. I cannot wear heels and really struggle with anything strappy. I also have a medical condition that makes my feet swell so even flat sandals are tricky.

I wear a lot of dresses/tights/boots combos in the winter generally so would hope to do the same for the wedding but in something a little dressier than normal. Is this achievable with flat boots?

It's not a super formal affair but I would want to be smart.

Yes of course! As long as your boots are not scuffed ( which is v common with flat boots). Unless you wear something outlandish nobody notices what an ordinary guest is wearing at a wedding anyway.

Of course! What sort of boots - well polished leather, jewel coloured unscuffed suede, some sort of embellished fabric? Any of those would be lovely. Knee length or longer? I wouldn’t be so keen on taking everyday black Chelsea boots to a wedding.
