Easy work outfits

I'm starting a new job soon. I'll be cycling to work so need to think of work clothes I can put in backpack and won't be really creased when I arrive. The new office style is fairly casual, I'll be in a mid level senior position so need to not look too scruffy (which is my default position!)

Any suggestions? I am size 14-16 and fairly short. I like dresses and top/trousers combos. Like patterns but struggle to find o es that don't make me look frumpy. Budget is about £60-80 per outfit.

Wide leg trousers ( M&S do short length) with some lovely tops. You can wear any type of shoes with wide leg trousers. They also look great with crisp shirts tucked in, or you can really go to town and get the latest styles in tops.

Jersey dresses (with leggings when it's cold or wet) - Popsy are great (and have pockets!) They don't crease if rolled up, in my experience.
