I’m colourblind and I need a dress that fits this palette for a photo shoot I’m doing with family. DH tells me it’s blue, but please can anyone send me dresses or tops in that specific colour type because it has to match as to me all the above colours are pink and grey

What kind of dress? Patterned or plain? Fitted or loose? Sleeves? Length? Budget and size? Posh, dressy, casual, smart?

Colour-wise, this works. But if you give me more info it'll be easier. Just noticed this one is polyester which I don't usually recommend, but I'm posting it anyway to get you started.

So the colours in your palette are as follows: a kind of dark beige, a greyish blue, a pale whitish cream, second row a pale blueish grey, a whitish pale grey, and a navy. I thought the navy might be a French navy but it might be too dark. But it's not a navy with much blue, it's a dark, muted navy. You mentioned seeing pinks? There's no pink at all in those six colours, except possibly the tiniest tinge in the first one.
Here's a cream dress, like colour three.

Yes the first one could be said to have a tinge of salmon pink in the beige.

I'm gonna wait now before posting any more!

Chat GPT will make some suggestions. Also suggest you move this to style & beauty.

Oh, excellent! They are a broad church, I don't think they have a style, they try to cover all styles at reasonable prices. I've had a few things from them and found them to be good quality. Not top of the range stylish but that's never really what I'm after! Masses of dresses!

Thank you! I’ll ask Mumsnet to move it now!

Are those colours specifically flattering to you, @Alwayslikethis? I would have thought you’d already have clothes (to show as examples) in colours you like and can recognise? Has your husband chosen the colour scheme, or someone else?

Usually I don’t adhere to, or much support the ‘my colours’ thing - but for a photo one obviously wants to look as good as possible. (And those colours are really quite drab.)
