Help - Fave Mac lipstick discontinued

I always use Fanfare by Mac. I had a few on the go so never had to buy another, until yesterday. Went into the shop to buy a new one and was told it’s been discontinued.

does anyone know any similar?? It’s the only lipstick I’ve ever liked on myself - I feel like other lipsticks make me look like a little kid who has gotten into her mom’s make up bag.

Have you got a Cosmetics Company outlet nearby as they are an Estée Lauder shop so all of the brands under the EL company are sold there. You might be lucky and find it there.

This was my daily colour
Not too pink not too nude , I've got rosy undertones with a neutral base and this was perfectly balanced.

Grrrr so annoyed

However recently I've bought a few new lipsticks and MAC Sellout is nice , also Pigment of my Imagination and Come over

They are NOT the exact colour as Fanfare but they work for me and don't look too garish.

Treasuring the half Fanfare I've got left !

Quite a few on Ebay (not cheap mind). Depends how much you want them and how much you're prepared to pay.

Most of the eBay ones don't look like the right colour

I've decided that it's gone now and I would just be postponing the inevitable .
Also make up has a shelf life so it's best to move on
The MAC MUA were very helpful, if it looks like your Mums make up eg garish then it's the wrong tone, they showed me my tone and undertone and tried a few colours
Some were obviously wrong and others lovely.
They also whispered that you can use 3 dots of lipstick as blush and blend with a brush so that it compliments perfectly

Wearing Come over today and DH has commented !

It's Thanks its MAC not Come Over ( which I do have and is also discontinued!)

I think if you find a lipstick you love stockpile!
