Strapless bras for big boobs? Possible?

wedding to go to and my favoured top is ‘off shoulder’. I’m 36G. I’ve struggled with strapless bras in the past but any holy grails or tips for strapless bras or hacks for one shoulder bras that have lift and support and don’t end up with feeling like you need to be hoiking your boobs up continually?

Fellow busty girl here (34H) – strapless bras can work with the right one! I had the same panic before a wedding last year until I found this Victoria’s Secret ‘That’s Our Thing’ strapless. Game changer! The key is:

✔️ THICK band (like, 4+ hooks) – 90% of support comes from here
✔️ Silicone grip strips inside to stop sliding
✔️ Cups that aren’t too shallow (G+ cups often need more projection)

If you’re open to alternatives:
• Misses Kisses ‘Go Bare’ (invisible backless hack)
• Boob tape + pasties (Kim Kardashian’s stylist swears by KT Tape)
• Convertible straps criss-crossed under your off-shoulder neckline

Pro tip: Walk/jump around the dressing room like a maniac to test before buying! Avoids the dreaded ‘slow sink’ mid-reception 😂

The Victoria secrets bras only go up to a ddd cup which i assume is the equivalent of an E in UK sizes so aren't great for the larger boobed amongst us

My father kindly described it as "the most structural engineering anyone's worn since my granny's day " (she was born in 1880), but it works.

I am 32GG and have also found good ones in Bravissimo in the past, but the game changer for me was finding a longline strapless bra - for some reason the longer 'body' provides more support, though I don't understand why.

Get the kind with optional straps and if you go for a one-shoulder top you can wear a strap on one side, which also helps overall imo. I have also been known to wear the kind with clear plastic straps and my (thick) hair down to cover them. It worked surprisingly well.

Wonder bra! It has like these hands inside that hold you up! I got two of Vinted for around £8 each one black one nude. The sizing is “firm” so worth trying irl bur they are not uncomfortable.

Another vote for bravissimo! I bought the curvy Kate Hey Girls! from there recently and it is brilliant. It has eight hooks, plunges very low so doesn't show at all and stays up forever! I did have to do the eight hooks up at the front and then do a really awkward swivel/hoick to get it in place the time I tried to get it on with no-one else about

I’m a 36F and never found one that works and is comfortable. With tops/dresses that don’t suit a bra, l either go for something fitted, or on occasion, wear a strapless basque. The latter does need some “breaking in”.

Another vote for the Wonderbra ultimate. It’s the only one that’s worked well for me. I wore it with my strapless wedding dress and had no slippage like I’ve had with other strapless bras.

Yeah, that’s true... their size range definitely leaves a lot of us out. It’d be great if they extended it so everyone could find a proper fit.
