Shapewear

Can anyone recommend any good shapewear? I’m plus size and fully aware it won’t make me a size 10, but for it to make some difference at least.
I have a wedding to attend in November and would like to feel nice about myself on the day and smooth the lumps and bumps out.

I still use Spanx. I a, yet to be convinced by anything better although a younger person in my work uses the Shein knock off stuff and says it is terribly good

If you intend to wear a dress, I would suggest a control slip from M&S or John Lewis. Similar to this:

They are less restrictive than control knickers, give you a better line and make life much easier when you want a wee.

I recently discovered that just an ordinary short slip (from Amazon) was just as effective as my shape wear shorts and waaaay more comfortable! Game changer!

Agree with @StarlightLady - a ‘wear your own bra’ shaping slip is brilliant for smooth lines.

I'm such a shapewear addict! lol, I'm a mum of 4 so I'm sure you can see where I'm coming from😀The best shapewear I own however is from SlimlineUk, there was a thread on here not so long ago and a few of the mums recommended them so I ended up buying and I have since recommended them to a few friends as well.
