Blundstone boots?

Are these the best Chelsea boots?

Could someone explain the style numbers to me like I’m a fool because they all look identical!

I know they are an investment so willing to splurge

BUT are there any cheaper or better boots?

Not sure about what style mine are, but I wear them all through the winter (rural) they needed a bit of breaking in. They are blue suede ( bought in a sale), so I impermeable sprayed, & they are watertight & a good thick sole
a great purchase. I fully expect them to last for years

I wear nothing else in winter. I live a very outdoorsy life and they're comfortable, waterproof and almost indestructible. The older the get the better they look somehow so definitely worth the money. After about three years I bought a new pair so now I have a battered pair for garden/beach/mud and a better pair for the pub etc.

Both of mine are Classics...don't know what this is in number terms but they have more padding and lining so are very comfortable. I think it's all on their website. I just want a pair with the green elastic now and my life will be complete.

I have the pair with the green elastic. My feet are quite wide and they fit well widthways. However, the length is quite generous, so either don't size up or wear chunky socks

Strongly recommend buying from here. Lovely business, family friends.

I love mine. I can’t remember the number thing, but there was a website which went through the different styles.
I think the style you want will depend on why you want them? Are they for casual / smart town wear…or country walks / gardening / yard wear?

I bought two styles in the same size and they fitted very differently

Thanks people!! Hugely helpful

I’m going to get the classic black for town/ causal wear and then the rustic brown in a few years time for the countryside

They're definitely not cheaper but have a look at RM Williams, beautiful boots but priced accordingly.
They are an investment piece and can be resoled and repaired to extend their lifetime.

@AllMyExesWearRolexes definitely out of budget at £425

Totally agree with this. I have very wide feet and the Classic are wide. The guy in the shop advised me not to size up, so I followed his advice, which was spot on.

I love the look of Blundstone and get loads of ideas for outfits from their website. They look great with shorts in summer too.

@fatgirlswims
Ouch! My first pair were £175 in 2000, still got 'em. £425 is strong money for sure.
