I'm starting at the gym and need to buy legging style shorts which finish above the knee.

Hi I'd like to buy a pair of legging style gym shorts for the gym, I've got knee problems , so need to keep my knees uncovered. Can you recommend any brands which are reasonable and don't go see through when you bend over , I'd preferably avoid black as it's not my colour.

I bought some h&m ones at the weekend and they absolutely fit this brief. They are on the website as training biker shorts and they are mid thigh on most people I would imagine (slightly shorter on me but I have insanely long femurs!) don't budge, not see through and feel like they give me some tummy support too without feeling restrictive!

Born Nouli are great and cheaper than Sweaty Betty/Lululemon (but similar quality).

Thanks for all the suggestions, I still haven't bought a pair yet as I'm on holiday , are some of these on line only shops?

M&S have stuff in store.
And won't break the bank, esp if you think you'll change shape or size and need to change them or just starting out needing 2/3 pairs so you aren't washing constantly.
