Trousers or jumpsuit for wedding

I'm going to a wedding in September. Not a massive thing but still dressy.

I have had major surgery on my feet so need to wear ugly shoes. I'm thinking long wide leg trousers will hide them. Or maybe a jumpsuit?

I'm 5'8, 14-16, with a belly. Happy to show off my arms. Definitely need pockets.

Any suggestions? I've seen lots of lovely flowery wide legged trousers out and about this summer but I'm not sure if they're dressy enough for a wedding.

I'm happy to spend £150 or thereabouts. I can't really walk round shops right now because my feet so I will probably order online.

Thank you style geniuses.

ASOS have a great wedding guest selection and a great sale on atm .
There’s a wide leg trouser and waist coat combo from topshop . Also what about maxi dress / skirt ? Should be wide/long enough to cover what you want too xx

I don't have any suggestions except go for a jumpsuit they are dressier, i.went to a "casual" wedding last year and I felt out of place everyone was really done up to the nines!

A jumpsuit is a good idea, I wore one to my son’s wedding. The only problem was getting in an out of it as it had a back zip! The solution was a ribbon threaded through the zip pull to use to pull it up and down. I tucked it down the back of my neck in between times.
