What are you wearing most at the moment?

Loving all the style.

Thanks @Fruitsherbert for the extra detail too. Re 80s I hear you.. My kids are wearing stripy jeans and I just can’t..They look great though!

Everything I am enjoying wearing is quite simple. I have a couple of wide leg jeans in blue and black and some straight wide Uniqlo ones which I love. Wide leg linen trousers that stop just below my ankle. Loose tshirts tucked in or something a bit tighter that stops at the waistband. On cooler days I have a lovely cropped trench from La Redoute and a soft black denim jacket which is closer to a chore jacket.

Have some fisherman saltwater sandals, blue Golas and a pair of lovely white Adidas ones that are an 80s style. Looking to add some bright slip on Vans to replace mine that are finally falling apart.

I really want a dress and am leaning towards a shirt dress.

At the moment, I’m wearing a Weird fish t shirt, below knee denim shirts and socks, although in my defence, I have just got in from taking the dog out!

Linen or denim wide leg cropped (or full length) trousers, loose fitting top or a fitted vest, with sandals or trendy trainers.
Shorts or dresses in hot/humid weather.

@ZenNudist I like the sound of the silky tees, any recommendations?

Shirt Dresses from sezanne for smart occasions and wide leg jeans from halara, next t shirts (the multi buy cheap ones) and Birkenstocks or trainers

Fine knit t-shirt and wide leg trousers for work with sambas for work.

Loose linen shirt tucked into black crepe trousers from Cos.

Black or white cropped t-shirt and drawstring linen trousers with birkies for the weekend.

I have some baggy loose jeans from Abercrombie, which are a lot more wearable than they sound. They are making me feel more current and that all my other jeans are too small/narrow/mean. I bought some bootcuts too but still not sure about them, as I wore them the first time round.

For work at this time of year I just wear chinos.

Tshirts with all of the above.

Sandals or trainers.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 06/08/2025 23:02

Is there a good alternative to shirt tucked in with skinny jeans? I'm going off skinnies but my black skinny jeans seemed so smart and put together with a shirt tucked in. I don't know how to feel smart with bootcut jeans. What am I missing?

Box/shift style dresses and sandals every day. Get them from Amazon, H&M, NewLook etc.

I have a mum tum/no waist, but great legs so this shape works best for me.
