Recommend me a concealer I can wear without foundation

Evening S & B gang

can you suggest a brand of concealer I can wear (mainly under eyes) that will blend and look ok without foundation? I’ve ducked about with skin make up for years now, it never looks right and I’ve wasted so much cash. Hitting 50 soon and have decided that actually, my skin is pretty much ok especially with a little fake tan to take away the pallor. So I want to spend less on stuff I’ll just bin and maybe instead spend a little more on stuff I will use.

So I reckon a little concealer and my Trinny London cream blush is all I need. And maybe a little bronzer.

Anyone suggest some good counters I can go to? If I can find the holy grail of concealers I’ll happily pay up to £40.

(I’ve also weirdly coveted a Guerlain bronzer all my life. No idea why 😁. Feel like scratching that itch also … anyone know of its any good?)

I use Bobbi brown colour corrector and a concealer by Real Beauty. It looks fine without foundation.

Glossier Stretch concealer is amazing. I don’t wear foundation and just use this. Great for under eye and for non heavy coverage wherever else you need. You might need to get colour matched in person though as there are a lot of shades. I’m 56 & it’s my holy grail concealer.

The Merit Minimalist stick is amazing. If you can get to a Sephora you can try it in store

I’ve spent £100’s on make up, and still wear expensive foundation, blush, and bronzer but swear by Maybelline age-rewind eraser, great coverage but so light and hydrating, it’s only £8 - worth trying before spending £40. Ditch the spongey applicator and apply with a brush or beauty blender.

Seconding Glossier stretch concealer, it doesn’t settle into your wrinkles!

I've used Rimmel Match Perfection concealer for years, mostly for undereyes but also for the occasional breakout. I wouldn't use anything else.

Tropic illuma. I wear it daily under the eyes and don’t wear foundation etc

The Trinny Just a Touch is good, I also like Laura Mercier

Fenty Beauty, applied with a brush.

I like the Nars Radiant cream concealer. I often use it without foundation.

Thanks all … I’ll spend some time googling these in a bit more detail later 😁
