Where to buy clothes for 11/12 year old girl?

We went to our local shopping centre and all the shops just seemed to have clothes for younger children (age 9 and under ) or adults - they have a big H&M, small river island, small Next

Which seems a really missed opportunity tbh as it's where all tweens and teens go to hang out /go to the cinema etc

DD loves fashion* and style, so she really enjoys picking out outfits. We can order online I guess but she's much prefer to try stuff on in person, and it makes a nice way to spend time together. I'm going to try and take her to the nearest big city next time she needs clothes but would love to know what shops would be best to try?

She's pretty average height for 11 and very slender /toned (she dances 6 days a week and also does rock climbing) so very much fits in age 10-11 clothes rather than being able to try any bigger sizes

I came here to say this too. Brandy Melville, H&M large branches, Nike and Adidas and Urban Outfitters tho may be slightly too old .

If in London, Brandy Melville, Hollister and Mango Teen are all together just off Carnaby St. My 12yo and her friends buy pretty much everything from those 3 😆. And then for favourite items can pick up repeat versions on Vinted.

Do we just need to go to much bigger branches then?.because there was nothing her size in our local ones

Or order online or do click and collect.

Another question from me - what about shoes? She mainly lives in trainers but she has a few big parties coming up and would like some party shoes. Although thinking about it I think dsd just wore trainers even to prom.
But if DD does want some where are good places for age appropriate but fashionable shoes? I like to get quite decent quality for shoes because I feel protective of her feet. Her dad bought awful shoes for her for his wedding and she had to miss dance for a week afterwards Angry

Shoes just look around. Dressier shoes she might like Arrogant Cat.
