Is it just me and my slappy, chunky thighs or does everyone’s shorts ride up as they walk? Help?

Not had that problem .. is it the fabric ? I (no doubt to the horror of all the floaty dress wearers😆) have lived in shorts this glorious summer as I have an active job that allows it, and a dog and an allotment... so it's practical. Mid thigh denim for outdoors and soft cotton for work.. not too tight...are they riding up because they are tight and causing friction? I have quite skinny legs so have to avoid them looking too baggy but I have noticed ladies with their shorts disappearing up their bottoms so it's definitely not just you!

I’ve got some great denim ones from H & M, highly recommend, I bought the denim and the white too. Long enough on my legs to be decent, thick enough denim to hold everything in, Lycra for comfort and looser legs to flatter thighs.Oh and the price, they’re now £17!

I think they ride up because they’re a bit big. A size smaller is too tight, bigger size is too big! I’m doomed to wear floral dresses so all the Americans can look down on me

Denim shorts stay down on me. Everything else comes straight up

I have this problem and have been buying up a lot of the high waisted, wide legged styles around at the moment. I especially like these from Next. Sorry no link, I don’t know how to share from the Next app without giving you all my account details too!

Yes I have a pair of loose short shorts that do this, it's so annoying. I think it's because my inner thighs remain stubbornly wobbly no matter how in shape the rest of me is (which is variable...). My longer line, linen shorts stay down.

Thank you. Showing my age but you know the short suit Julia Roberts wears in Pretty Woman. Those are the kind of shorts I want - hide a multitude of sins, not too tight and fine with trainers/sandals on holiday. Actually, similar shape to what you linked to @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroadscertainly worth a try
