Cropped jeans

Many years ago I bought some cropped jeans from Dorothy Perkins (MN recommendation), they were perfect for summer, the right length (just below the knee), slim but not tight and a thin denim.
I can't find similar or even close.
I'm almost at the stage of buying some jeans and cutting them short, but it's not ideal.

Before I start with the scissors I thought I'd ask here.

Have you looked on Vinted? You might get lucky and find the exact same style you had before.

Yes, that's a possibility but it's so long ago I'm not sure what size I bought and if that would still fit me.
Ideally I'd like to find some from a shop.

There are some on Vinted, cheap enough to take a punt.

Ooh fingers crossed then op! I buy most of my clothes from Vinted now tbh, cheaper than the shops (and some charity shops!). But I also love the thrill of the hunt!
