Fisherman sandals

Do I want fisherman sandals or will they make me look old lady frumpy at 63? Maybe they only look good on the young?
I'd have to have the Clarkes ones as I'm 5 and a half E fitting.

If you like them, buy them! Personally, I don't love them - but nothing to do with age.

[Pedantry alert] I wouldn't call those fisherman's sandals as they have open toes. Gladiator sandals, maybe? The Hana Sun is the Clarks version of fisherman's sandals, but no use to you if you need wide.You could try the Moshulu version, because although not officially wide, it does have a foot-shaped toe box. I snapped up a similar Celtic and co. footbed version as soon as I saw them (flat, comfy sandals that are trendy - that's a no-brainer!). I think they look fabulous. It didn't occur to me that they might look frumpy or wrong on a woman with silver in her hair. I rarely feel warm enough for sockless footwear, so I've been wearing them with all my ‘properly hot weather’ clothes... Lots of linen, in other words. I can't see how they would make a non-frumpy outfit look frumpy, to be honest.

Oh yes I like those a lot better. I can wear a 6 to get the width. I do like moshulu I have to say. Great colours.
