Children's sandals for a city break (lots of walks)

Hi, any recs for kids sandals for lots of walking on a city break? Are Teva the best? I feel like trainers might be too sweaty.

I’d say trainers are actually better for lots of walking. I know that when I go on a city break, where I’ve taken my most comfortable sandals my feet have been sore after a day’s walking whereas even in hit places, trainers with proper sports socks have been far more comfortable.

Trainers.

Keens, the closed toe Newport ones. As comfy as trainers but way more breathable.

Sorry I posted too early. I was meant to add that we did this earlier in the year and my four year old lived in her trainers, no complaints.

I just had the same dilemma, bought some Tevas, but more for around beach walking and will stick with trainers for cities - but wanted to have the option as not sure how hot it’s going to be and trainers can get very sweaty. Lots of Teva knock offs too in Clarks and elsewhere

We do Skechers sandals for Disney which is 20-30k steps a day

I just got my daughter (almost 4) some saltwater sandals with the thick soles. She has only worn them a bit here so far but u have the same ones and they are very comfy for walking in so I’m hoping they’ll suit her too for holiday but will also take some trainers.

Crocs. DD and I have done quite a lot of walking in our Crocs.

Another vote for Keen sandals here, tons on vinted if you wanted a cheaper option and they are fully machine washable or trainers.

Decent trainers. I wouldn’t let them do any substantial walking in crocs - they’re designed for limited wear time and have a poor effect on foot development and walking biomechanics.
