Suggestions for a small leather purse?

My current purse is looking a bit worse for wear but I find it hard to find something to replace it (this is actually the second purse, I bought the exact same one off eBay to replace the first one!) so I’m hoping Mumsnet can help!

I am looking for a plain leather purse that will be hard wearing. My current purse is burgundy and I love it, but will also consider other jewel colours, or perhaps tan. Not a fan of black really!

Budget isn’t going to cover silly top end designer, but I’m happy to pay maybe £250 if I love it and it will last forever. Not too fussed about branding, but will pay if it’s worth it and is discreet (like Mulberry).

Any suggestions would be appreciated, as I have been stuck in a purse rut for the past 6/7 years!

Have you had a look at the Radley website? I've just had a quick look and there are a few that might be close to what you are looking for. They seem to be calling them 'flapover purses'.

I was going to suggest Aspinal too, beautifully made, classic and really last.

@Strawberrriit would have to blow me away to pay that, but yes, if the quality is worth it I would. My purse (like a wallet) is literally used by me for years, so I don’t see it a bad thing to pay more for a nice one.

Thank you everyone for the link suggestions, I’ve checked them out but the popper style where it’s half and half is what I’m trying to avoid ( I know it sound strange). I’m probably not explaining it properly, but I like it when the coin bit is on the inside, with a leather flap closed over it?

Hopefully this picture works, which is a pic of my current (ironically, Ted Baker!) purse to show what I mean. I will check out Aspinall, I remember looking through a while back and not finding anything but maybe they have something new!
