Gel or builder gel

I’ve only ever had gel before. This is a once a year treat for me going on holiday. What will builder gel do that gel doesn’t? Can I remove builder gel myself? I always remove gel myself so want something I don’t have to pay to have removed afterwards

If you have Biab it'll need removing. It does last longer though and is great if your nails tend to break.

Builder gel does last a long time. I'm currently attempting to remove builder gel myself as I'm booked in somewhere else tomorrow morning and they don't remove gel applied elsewhere. Wish me luck...

I had BIAB and it destroyed my nails ( or rather the removal of it destroyed my nails) for many many months afterwards.

I have Biab and it’s made my nails grow so much. I think you only have problems if you rip them off yourself.

I didn’t rip them off myself. I had it removed by the person in the nail bar who had applied the BIAB.

BIAB and builder gel are different things. BIAB is the dip powder stuff (I think). That stuff ruined my nails but a couple of coats of builder gel under gel colour strengthens my nails and makes the manicure last 3 weeks instead of 10 days

BIAB is builder in a bottle - the same as builder gel.
