Best sunscreen for hands- age spots

I'm late forties and my hands (and forearms) are developing a lot of age/sun/live spots. I tend not to wear much sun cream on my hands as I have a habit of washing my hands after applying sun cream as usually I end up rubbing my eyes and then they sting.
So I think I need something specifically designed for hands. I read someone recommended a stick sun cream as then you can just apply to the tops of the hands. Does anyone have any recommendations? Also recommendations for any products which might fade the spots?

I use all and any (high factor) sun screen on my hands and it keeps the dark spots at bay. It's just melanin - same as what a tan is.

If i'm trying to keep my palms and fingers free of it (for driving ect) i just squirt it on the backs of one hand and rub the backs together.

The spots will fade over time if you use the sun screen every day even if it's cloudy.
