Hi all, I’m terrible at putting outfits together, I am gradually getting better.
Things like matching colours or what to wear with a pair of shorts or skirt. When I clothes shop I grab things that I like but not outfits. Do we know of anything styling apps? That are free too?
Only recently have i saved a colour chart of what matches which colour

Try Pinterest. I will also often google thing like “cool trousers suit for women with winter colouring” to see what turns up. ChatGPT will give you ideas too.

Instagram helps me. Mostly with the bits around the edges (jewellery belts, shoes). No one person specifically and I have a pet hate of outfits that only look finished if you wear a coat (as half of it disappears when you are inside) but it’s useful to see the process of putting it together.

Agree with using Instagram. I love following Anna Cascarina as she has a very relatable figure and wears a huge range of price points.
In terms of actual instructions on how to dress and combine items I strongly recommend aysat_official as she gives actual step by step instructions based on things her followers have asked. E.g. how to style a satin skirt.

Another thing worth doing is working out your Kibbe body type, it takes a while but it’s way more useful than just saying “I’m an hourglass” It suggests styles that suit that Kibbe type.

Hi!
I love this account on Instagram. Gives lots of oitfit ideas, including things like '5 ways to wear white trousers' or similar.

I also like this lady, she gives some.subtle changes to update outfits

To help me streamline my wardrobe so I know I can pretty much wear anything with anything, I stick to a colour palette. Mine is neutral, yours could be brights/pastels/darks etc. Pick 2 or 3 colours to.start with and only buy in those colours. It may feel boring, but once you get confident with that, start expanding your colours, making sure they are complimentary colours. Or, add in small touches of other colours via accessories and make up. Its surprising liberating when you narrow down your choices.
