Perfume that lasts

Im after recommendations of perfume brands thst still smell 5 minutes after spritzing.

spent £100+ on Jo Malone fig and lotus, and I love it but 10 minutes later I can’t smell anything. I’ve noticed over the years most ‘perfumes’ dont really last. Are they being massively diluted?

I find Penhaligon's perfumes last ages and ages.

Can I ask how many spritzes you do? I feel the same but maybe I’m not using enough, or you just get used to the smell.

Jo malone and similar are eau de toilettes.

You need an eau de parfum for longevity, broadly speaking.

I'm wearing la vie est belle l'elixir at the moment and it lasts forever. I get complimented all the time on the scent!

I literally clicked on this thread to recommend the same. It lasts for ages.

A lot! About 2 or 3 in each body part. The smell just doesn’t last at all.

I used to wear penthaligond in the early 2000s but then they quadrupled their prices and now they are far too much for my budget.

Estee Modern Muse. It's very safe but I always go back to it and there's often a half price deal

If you can find a scent that you like, rituals eau de parfum are pretty good value. A couple of spritz and is long lasting.

Crystal noir. But it's quite heavy. And la vie este belle for a lighter scent

Pricey but not break-the-bank pricey. Lasting but not obnoxiously overpowering.

MLLER HARRIS! (If you are anywhere near London go to their Covent Garden or Monmouth Street stores - if not then order their sample kits).

In the early 2000s I wore a lot of miller Harris, but their Teo thst I liked have been discontinued! Eau du matin and tuberose.

Penhalligans Halfetti lasts all day and night. Am currently a fan of Creed’s Queen of Silk too

Daisy Intense, I get compliments wearing that.

All of the Lush perfumes and body sprays last. I’m always getting complimented on them, especially if I’m wearing Rose Jam (it smells a little bit like Turkish Delight).

Jo Malone is unfortunately notorious for producing scents that are only a fleeting pleasure. Perfume Parlour do excellent dupes if your usual favourites are out of your price range.

Fugazzi perfumes are known for being long lasting. As are Saltworks. Both do discovery sets that you’re effectively refunded the cost of if you buy a full size perfume later.
