What perfume

I'm in need of a new perfume (have always been a one bottle until it's finished person but thinking I perhaps need to have a few more options at the same time).

I find the numbers available in shops overwhelming and don't know where to start.

My go to is Dior J'adore. I also used Dior Joy for a while but think I've gone off that. For a long time I used Givenchy Very Irresistible but that's when I was much younger so not sure if I'd still be keen. I also liked the old style Gucci Flora - tried the new ones this morning and didn't mind the yellow bottle.

Any ideas on the sort of things I might like, based on the above, to help me narrow down my search?!

Id also got stuck in a Dior j’dore rut for years and years and wanted change. I got a perfume advent calendar so that could sample newer styles and in the new year I treated myself to my favourites - Icon 914 which is really fresh and paco rabanne lady million - I love the fragrance but have found it doesn’t last long.

I love Girl of Now Forever by Elie Saab and Coach

Thanks both, I'll add those to my list to try. An advent calendar is a good idea, might have to try that at Christmas to get a few more ideas of what I like.

J’adore is my favourite but I’m really enjoying Chanel Gabrielle as an alternative lately.

I always get lots of compliments when I wear Jean Paul gaultier Devine.

im a fan of j’adore as well, but not bought it for a while.

Why not try a variety?

Les Senteurs
Bloom Perfumery
Sainte Cellier

each stock a selection of the very best (often niche) perfumes / brands, and can provide samples of pretty much anything they stock. Bloom even has sample subscriptions.

It would seem a shame to stick to only one or two and not experience more of what perfume makers have to offer.
