Soap with some exfoliation

I was reading the shower gel thread and thinking that I need more soap as I've pretty much completely gone over to soap from gel. My best soap ever was the L'Occitane Almond Delicious, very exfoliating, they briefly produced it in a big bar but generally only 50g and it now seems to have completely disappeared. So I'm looking for something similar - I like one that exfoliates as I have KP on my arms and it really helps. I like French soaps, but not wedded to that! I like foody smells like vanilla and coconut, rather than fruity or floral.

Wondered whether anyone had any favourites they could share?

I love the Imperial Leather Pomegranate & Sea Salt Exfoliating Bar Soap it's as cheap as chips but smells & feels so much more expensive & prefer it to L'Occitane soaps.

As we love it so much in this household I got a box of 12 full size bars of it for £10 from Amazon earlier in the year.

Edited to add: it doesn't smell that fruity or floral more like a light spicy expensive perfume (think YSL Opium mixed with Chanel Coco & Lancôme Tresor

However they do make an Oatmeal one which is more Vanilla -ish

Also since I stopped using body lotion on my upper arms everyday after a bath or shower the KP stopped.
So I only use body lotion or oil a couple of times a week on my upper arms.

Apparently KP is because of a faster turnover in new skin cells so I'm thinking body lotion/cream/oil everyday is just glueing/clumping it all together & clogging pores/follicles?

Edit:typo

Would a soap bag help? I got 10 for something like a fiver from Amazon.

Oh that soap definitely looks worth trying @TracyBeakerSoYeah, thanks!
I haven’t noticed any correlation with moisturising but I will stay aware.

@myladyjane hadn't seen those before, have used various mitts and scrubby things but not a bag, but I do tend to find that they make me itchier afterwards. Thanks, might try.

Have you tried FrenchSoaps.co.uk? They have lots of lovely exfoliating soap that’s really reasonably priced.

Sanctuary spa do an exfoliating soap bar. I actually get mine in tk maxx but I spotted it in Sainsbury’s yesterday too. I really like it, and it seems to last for ages!

I actually have a rather full shopping basket sitting there in French Soaps waiting for me to make a decision and whittle it down a bit 😂

Will look out for the Sanctuary one too @mamansloth :)
