I went to the hairdressers today and asked for an all over hair colour, going from a faded blonde back to brown. I selected a colour with the help from the stylist, that was a little warmer than my own original tone and a couple of shades lighter.
Fast forward and hour, the dye is washed off and my hair is almost black. I said that it was far darker than expected, as it's more my own colour which I said I wasn't looking for. The stylist dried it off and said it had come out darker than she expected, stating my natural colour under the bleach had grabbed it.
I'm now left with hair that is almost black and am so unhappy. Has anyone got any tips of how to lift it quickly? I've washed it twice already.
