Blepharoplasty: how long does it last?

After years of fighting with the baggy eyes I inherited I am seriously considering having an upper and lower bleph done.
I’ve been told I look tired since I was in my twenties and I’m 49 now.
I’m wondering how long the effects of this surgery last?
I have an appointment for a consultation in September but wondering if anyone has any advice based on their experience?

When DM did it, it lasted around 10 years

but she did the eyelids only , I think that’s what blepharoplasty is meant to address - it was pretty easy although it was ages ago

when you say eye bags you mean under eye? Thats bit different

have you worked out where you ll be doing it?

Thanks, yes I have a recommendation for a surgeon, I’m not in the UK.
It would be upper bleph and lower too, so eye bag removal. I haven’t got a price for both as yet though but it makes sense to me to have both done at the same time.

I think it’s easy to do (can you lift eye brows too)
having seeing DM going through it it was a piece of case comparing to her face lift

good luck x
