Gel Nail - BIAB question

BeaLola · 15/07/2025 15:21

I have had gel manicure on my nails probably 2-4 times over last couple of summers.

I have thin, easy to snag nails- I prefer them short as they look better that way.

I'm thinking of booking before I go away - is BIAB as a step worth it ?
Thank you

My BIAB lasts ages - I only get it redone when my nails grow cos they grow so fast, but my nails look and feel better, might were weak from excessive nervous biting!!

Are you planning to keep maintaining them after your holiday?

If you only want it to last for the duration of your holiday, then remove it and go back to natural nails, it probably isn't worth it. Builder gel is designed to be infilled (similar to acrylic), not worn as a one off. Just gel polish by itself should last for the duration of the holiday but will be easier removed without causing damage.

I have naturally very weak nails and usually just wear gel polish, which gives me enough strength and lasts until I remove it, but I'm generally bored and want a change after two weeks.
