I need help!

I’ve recently divorced and have started dating again. Me and my husband barely went out and I’m due on a 3rd date with a guy I like who is taking me to a cocktail bar.

What do I wear? I would like a nice classy but a bit sexy dress. I’m 35 year old, petite, and literally have no idea where to look.

Any idea for go to shops?

I love SHEIN for cheap summer dresses etc, but would like something more for an evening drinking vibe.

Interesting! I often recommend Sister Jane for ‘Event Dressing’, but apart from one or two of the mini dresses I’d have said they’re a bit too flouncy for a louche, relaxed cocktail bar. And sort of deliberately the opposite of ‘sexy’ - as they’re all about the dress rather than the person wearing it.

(Not that my musing should matter to anyone else!)

Not sure of the budget but that was my suggestion for a mid-range option. Realisation is gorgeous but expensive. I also like RIXO for a similar budget OP.

Lots of Sister Jane dresses are big on whimsy I agree but there are some more muted options too. OP you could also try Reiss for something more classic? I think they offer petite sizing.
