Tempted to buy some VB make up, any recommendations or success stories? Is it worth the hype??

I absolutely love the eyeliner, it just glides on and stays there without any irritation. Mascara is pretty good too. I've also got the San Ysidro perfume, one of the best I've ever had. Lasts for hours, is slightly unusual and I always get asked what I'm wearing.

Second the eyeliner, absolutely love it! I also have 2 colours of the lid lustre which I really love.

Haven't tried anything else, but so far it seems to be worth the money.

Yes agree: I have eyeliner and an eye shadow, plus some sort of highlighter stick: all tremendous especially the eyeshadow (I think it’s Tea Rose but might have that wrong!) . And San Ysidoro is my absolute favourite perfume (although £££).

I have the eyeliner and like but don't love it. It's great to use and goes on so beautifully but you have to be so careful with it between uses otherwise it ends up totally blunt. I've never had that issue with an eyeliner before.

JupiterNorth · 13/07/2025 20:42

Also the eyeliner for me. So smooth. You get a few uses before bluntness, and they come with a free sharpener, so that's no biggie for me personally.

Piffle11 · 13/07/2025 20:42

The kajal eyeliners are lovely but incredibly soft. Whenever I try and do liner close to my lashes - waterline, is that right? - I find it too much/too heavy. I don’t think that last very long and I felt like I was constantly having to sharpen it. But if you want to use them above or below your lash line, then they smudge beautifully and have staying power. I like the mascara, the one in the black tube. I bought a couple of the eyeshadow crayons, But I’m not that fussed on them.

Hoppinggreen · 13/07/2025 20:43

Like others I have 2 eyeliners and really like them

WessexPrincess · 13/07/2025 20:49

Eyeliners and the mascara for me

EggnogNoggin · 13/07/2025 21:18

The eyeliner slides off me (and I'm using it above the eye, not the waterline)

But the highlighter and blush is lovely.

Poonu · 13/07/2025 21:22

Everyone ALWAYS goes on about the eyeliner. IME it smudges. Good PR. Save your £30.

willowstar · 13/07/2025 21:23

I love the Kajal eyeliners. I have seven different colours of them and use them all. I am not very good with makeup but these are super easy to use. Well worth the money.

Poonu · 13/07/2025 21:23

Smudges onto the upper eye lid

Buxusmortus · 13/07/2025 21:29

In contrast to many on here I really don't like the kajal eyeliner. It goes on smoothly but it comes off so easily, doesn't last at all. I spent 28 quid on something that I only used a few times.
The blush stick is good however.

Fedupandstressed · 13/07/2025 22:37

I prefer the HIldun eyeliners, especially at half price and good offers. Not quite so smudgy and good for tightlining. My VB liner makes me into a panda.

Platypusdiver · 10/10/2025 21:18

Where can you test VB make up and perfumes? To expensive for me to buy blind.

NewDogOwner · 10/10/2025 21:44

I have the Cocoa eyeliner which is 'the' Victoria shade. It is super bendable and looks amazing in the top waterline and stays all day. I pat a bit of powder over the liner on the lid and it stays all day and night - and I have oily lids. I'm so happy with it.

Selfridges in Birmingham is getting a VB counter and some of the Space NKs in London have counters

I love VB make up but I categorically refuse to pay £104 for foundation drops - doesn’t matter how good they are!!
