Waiting times

Would you wait over an hour for a booked nail appointment ? I went in the normal nail salon I use it’s roasting hot plastic chairs so we’re all roasting in there . Normally I’d give up to 20 mins but wanted toes done for holiday and got to 55 mins I’d been waiting and still not seen , this salon just takes in walks ins and feel they don’t even look at the booked appointments hence the delay .

I walked out at 3:25 - appointment was at 230 , would you do the same ? Just want to know if working on my patience is something I need to do , or is there this just shoddy customer service ?

Did you ask them why they were so late? I would have asked and leaving would have depended on their answer

It’s because there was people ahead of me , so you can see how long it will take based on the amount of people working . But what this salon does is they don’t really account for the customers that have actually booked as they just take every walk in which they shouldn’t do . It makes the booking system pointless .

I would have left but complained first. Not acceptable in a salon with a booking system - walk ins are supposed to plug the go between appointments, not take priority over those who bothered to book! Time to find a new salon, I think.
