Hi, I'm recently in remission from cancer and am hosting a birthday/remission party next weekend ❤️ so happy to have reached this milestone but struggling to find something to wear. Any advice would be most welcome!
My body has been through the mill and I've put on 3 stones from all the steroids, so I'm 5'3 and a size 18-20, which I'm not loving. I'm very much apple shaped. I was tempted to not do anything to celebrate as I'm feeling self conscious of looking different with my weight and short hair but I've decided to push past that, as I know I deserve this celebration, but the struggle to find a dress is a bit discouraging. I lost a lot of weight last year and to pile it all on again in treatment was really shit.
My budget is up to about £60 but have a bit of flex. It's only a casual garden party so would like a dress I could wear again. I'm mid thirties and like autumnal/dark colours/leopard.
