Identify this dress!

I saw a girl yesterday wearing a dress that I LOVED and I should have just asked her where it was from. Instead, I’ve spent AGES trying to find it … but I can’t!

• mini dress with short sleeves (slightly puffed at the shoulder).
• High neck but no collar (almost like a collarless shirt style).
• Looked like it could have had a belt but I think it was more just the style of the waistband rather than an actual belt.
• Fabric was white base with different coloured (mainly pink and orange) painterly shapes.
• Quite structured but in a cotton way where skirt still moved when walking, not structured like bodycon.

Looked very similar to Farm Rio dresses (White Spring Bananas in particular) but I can’t find it on the website - it definitely didn’t have puffy bloomy sleeves.

Help please!

So I know it's not this, but your description has so much in common with this I thought you should see it. They've got a shirt in the same fabric and both come in a predominantly blue colourway too.

Yes I was pretty sure it wasn't THE dress, but I was struck that you described it as painterly shapes and they describe theirs as a paintbox print, plus the colours and your description of the way it's structured but still moving seemed so similar I just thought you might like it.
I do love some Toast dresses and shirts - not all of them but sometimes they really hit the spot for me.

Sister Jane / Stine Goya do some quite structured, high neck mini dresses but sleeves maybe more puffy?

Thank you both. I haven’t looked at Sister Jane or Stine Goya, will have a stalk now! I could almost convince myself it was this dress from Farm Rio other than it absolutely wasn’t THE dress as THE dress was a little whiter and definitely had short shirt like sleeves with a little puff at the top rather than billowy. I think it’s a lost cause unless I see the dress again and put my big girl pants on and ask where it’s from
