Looking for some really beautiful undies

I’m in the middle of a big diet and exercise push and have lost a couple of stone over the past 8 months.

None of my bras fit me now and I need to get some new ones. I’d like to treat myself to a couple of really pretty matching sets.

I normally love the Rosie ones at M&S but they’re all quite blue/green at the moment and I don’t think that suits my (pale, blotchy) skin tone.

Has anyone seen anything lovely on their travels please? I’m a 34D and a size 10 in knickers.

If you are a size ten then you are more likely to be a 32 back and a much bigger cup size. Do the boob or bust measure where you measure underbust and this is the back size and then the fullest part of your bust is the cup size and for each inch difference you add an inch.
Mand S still use the now outdated way to measure, so I recommend going to Bravissimo. I went in a 34 D and came out a much more shapely 32 G.
They also have some nice matching bra and knickers sets

Thank you, I’m really looking for inspiration rather than sizing but I will take a look at Bravissimo.

Chantelle, pretty, and surprisingly supportive and robust while not having massive wide bands and straps etc. Also made to last.

Agent provocateur, the sale is on so not as £££ as normal

Boux Avenue have some gorgeous sets!

Thank you! Lots to look at!

I’m quite taken with Dora Larsen sets but they are made of nylon and I think would get quite sweaty Confused

For bras, try on, try on and try on.

I’m a 36F and John Lewis is my go to for starters, a huge selection of styles and colours. I don’t do white (reminds me of school) or 50 shades of beige (makes my boobs look like cardboard 😫), l quite like the blues and greens at the moment though.

l usually buy 2 pairs of matching knickers (different styles if possible) with a new bra. While l aspire to match underneath it all, l don’t always succeed, and usually supplement my knicker drawer with M&S Brazilians.

I’m the same size as you OP. I like Panache for their amazing support and Pour Moi for something a bit more ‘Fridaynightish’

StarlightLady · 12/07/2025 10:01

@Onanotherhealthkick - l agree about Panache, l also like Fantasie but l find Pour Moi sizing to be all over the place.

The boob or bust method and tight band often ( not always) only works if you’re happy to be one of those women who get used to discomfort and marked skin and sigh with joy when their bra is removed. A looser underband bra may be marginally less flattering , but it’s a dam sight comfier!

Thank you, I’ll check these out! Boux Avenue are absolutely gorgeous and there’s a fab pink set on Agent Provocateur that I think I can stretch to. Thank you for the recommendations!
