Cheshire/Manchester Spa Day

Hello,
I’m looking for a spa day around the Cheshire or Manchester area, one that includes a lunch and a treatment.
I’ve looked at The Manor, Alsager which looks nice but a couple of people who’ve been recently have been unimpressed with the food.
I’ve been to The Woodland which is great but very expensive just for a day so looking for slightly less expensive!
Any recommendations?

Champneys at Mottram Hall? I went last summer and the pools were wonderful and the cold room was incredible after sauna-ing. i didn't have a treatment but did feel nicely relaxed and had a little snooze after lunch, the big loungers are so comfortable

I’ve had a lovely one at Mere Golf club!
