Studio Nicholson fit advice please

Hello, I’ve a new job starting in a month or two and need some new trousers. The ones I have been living in over the past few years are from Cos but they’ve been discontinued it seems. They are full length, wide leg, tailored but relaxed wool pairs. They are now looking a bit worse for wear.

I’ve been wondering whether to try Studio Nicholson (sale) as an alternative. I tend to mostly wear trousers and shirts for work with loafers or other flat shoes. However I can’t really be bothered to go to soho to try their clothes on and I don’t really want to order 10 pairs and send 8 back if I can help it. Any advice on their styles and fit (or alternative smart/ relaxed trousers) would be greatly appreciated.

I’m 5’7, have a pear shape with my top half being about a size 8/10 and my bottom half being 10/12. My size in Cos wide legs is 34 or 36 depending on the style.

I know this is very specific so I don’t expect many answers 😁. Thanks in advance though.

I don’t know Cos trousers very well but I wear a 12 in Cos generally. I would say Studio Nicholson runs large (at least if you like trousers to sit on the waist) - the 0 (or 8) seem to fit me well at least in the styles I’ve tried on - Acuna, Sperro, Dordoni. I am also a pear shape with a small waist, big hips and a long rise. I hope this helps a little.
